Carolin Elizabeth Dupré is proud to call herself a book fairy. The work with the organisations The Book Fairies and Books on the run brings her always the greatest pleasure.



 

The Book Fairies were founded in England in March 2017 by Cordelia Oxley.
 Since then, book fairies keep leaving their books at park benches, at the beach, at all kinds of public places imaginable. Over the time, this magical idea has grown into an international movement. About 12000 book fairies in more than one hundred countries are leaving books as gifts, surprising other book lovers every day. 



 

In Heidelberg, the sisters Samantha and Davina have founded "Books on the Run" and enthusiastically sharing books in trains and on buses. For the publication of Carolin's debut novel, they had sent copies on a journey across Germany.

You can become a book fairy as simple as that: Put a sticker of the chosen organization on the book you want to share with others and then place it at an extra nice place. Don't forget to share it on social media. And then, let’s wait and hope that someone will find it and share it on social media.
